Speaker B

Let me ask you, what are you most thankful for this year?

Speaker B

Is it the big milestones or those little everyday moments that make life sweet?

Speaker B

So grab your favorite beverage, turn up the volume, and let's get started.

Speaker B

This year has been a whirlwind, hasn't it?

Speaker B

It feels like we blinked and here we are getting ready to wrap up another year.

Speaker B

Thanksgiving always reminds me to slow down, to take stock of life, and to really appreciate the moments that we sometimes take for granted.

Speaker B

And that's what I want to talk about today.

Speaker B

Gratitude, finding joy in the little things and embracing the season even when it looks different than what we're used to.

Speaker B

For me, this year has been a mix of blessings and challenges, as I'm sure it may have been for you too.

Speaker B

But one thing that I've learned is to find joy in the small things.

Speaker B

The warm cup of coffee that I sip every morning, the laughter I share with friends and those quiet moments to catch my breath.

Speaker B

I'm so grateful for my family and our health and most importantly, for the precious little gift of a granddaughter, Halo Joy, who we were blessed with this month.

Speaker B

Being a Grammy has already brought a smile to my face and joy into my life.

Speaker B

I find myself appreciating this new and next chapter more than I ever imagined.

Speaker B

This Thanksgiving though, feels a little different.

Speaker B

It's actually our second year not spending the holiday with my son.

Speaker B

Last year he and his wife traveled to be with his in laws and this year we're traveling to spend the day with my mom and the rest of our family.

Speaker B

It's a reminder that traditions evolve as life changes and while it's hard not spending the day with him, I am grateful for the moments that we do get to share.

Speaker B

The holidays can stir up a lot of emotions.

Speaker B

Joy, excitement, but also sometimes a bit of sadness when Things look different than we're used to, and that's okay.

Speaker B

It's part of the beauty of the season.

Speaker B

Learning to adapt, to embrace the new, and to hold on to the things that matter most.

Speaker B

Let's talk about some tips for staying grounded.

Speaker B

With all the hustle and the bustle this week, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.

Speaker B

Trust me, I've been there.

Speaker B

But let me remind you of a few simple ways to stay grounded and fully enjoy the moment that you're in.

Speaker B

Number one is breathe.

Speaker B

Just pause.

Speaker B

Take a deep breath.

Speaker B

When things feel chaotic, it's amazing how much clarity you can find in those few seconds.

Speaker B

Number two now first, let me say I'm pretty happy not to be cooking this year.

Speaker B

But if you're cooking or hosting, don't be afraid to delegate.

Speaker B

Whether it's asking for help in the kitchen or having someone else set the table, remember, you don't have to do it all yourself.

Speaker B

And three, it's okay if things aren't perfect.

Speaker B

Some of the best memories are born from the imperfect moments.

Speaker B

And for those of you who are gearing up for Black Friday shopping, have fun.

Speaker B

But don't let it steal your joy or your peace.

Speaker B

Whether you're chasing deals or staying cozy at home, remember that this season isn't about the gifts that we buy.

Speaker B

It's about the love that we share.

Speaker B

As we move into this Thanksgiving week, I hope that you'll take time to reflect on your own moments of gratitude.

Speaker B

What are you thankful for this year?

Speaker B

Maybe it's the people that you love, the challenges that you've overcome, or simply making it through another day.

Speaker B

Whatever it is, hold on to it tightly and let it guide you through the season.

Speaker B

This Thanksgiving will be different for us, and it may be for you, too.

Speaker B

But different doesn't mean bad.

Speaker B

It just means new memories, new lessons, and new reasons to be thankful.

Speaker B

I'm wishing you a happy holiday filled with love, laughter, and a little bit of pie.

Speaker B

And hey, before the turkey hits the table, challenge yourself to tell at least one person why you're thankful for them.

Speaker B

It's a simple gesture that can mean the world.

Speaker B

Thanks for spending a few moments with me today.

Speaker B

I'll be back next week, but until then, have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy every second of it.

Speaker B

Take care and I'll see you soon.

Speaker C

Thanks for hanging out with me today.

Speaker C

I hope you're feeling inspired and ready.

Speaker B

To own your awesomeness.
